History Of Jewel On The River
The home was originally built in 1922 by C. Harold Wills. He was the founder of the Wills Sainte Claire Automobile. There is a historical museum located in Maryville to commemorate the car company and the owner. C. Harold Willis orginally worked for Henry Ford prior to starting his own automobile company in Marysville. The plant is now a Stellantis spare parts warehouse.
